MOUNT CASTILLO:

The mountain is located first in line in the Señoret Range. Having an altitude of 1100 meters and being located right to the south of Torres del Paine gives the summit amazing views. Starting early gives us the chance to enjoy the views during the walk, after making it up the first 800 meters we will get to a beautiful collection of conglomerate walls where we make our way through the labyrinth of rocks to reach the last 2 kilometers to the highest point of the mountain. Enjoying the summit we are getting ready to make our way down the mountain and back to the car. Once back to town everybody can get their well deserved shower and a victorybeer.

DON'T FORGET:

Even though it is a one day trek don't forget we are in Patagonia. This means you have to be ready for any kind of weather. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen but also as a rain jacket and a warm layer.
